Syphon

U-Type Syphon
Description & Application:
- Features a 360-degree coil for a protective barrier between the process and pressure instrument.
- The coiled design provides effective heat dissipation and helps reduce process temperature at the instrument connection.
- Commonly used in steam and other hot vapor applications.
- The loop must be installed horizontally to properly trap condensate and provide effective protection.
Materials: Carbon Steel (CS), Stainless Steel (SS 304 / SS 316).
Pressure Gauge Syphons
Description:
Features a full “U” bend that creates a deep and reliable liquid seal, providing effective protection for pressure gauges.
Real-Life Application:
Ideal for vertical pipe installations where the pressure take-off is located on the side or top of the main pipe. Commonly used in steam boiler and hot-process applications.
Specification:

Compact Syphon
Description:

Ideal for applications where a traditional U-type or pigtail syphon may not fit. Suitable for OEM equipment, compact machinery and instrumentation panels.

Provides basic temperature and pulsation protection in space-constrained installations. Its compact construction makes it suitable for applications where installation space is limited.
Materials: Forged Steel, Stainless Steel 316 (Block Type).
Coil (Pigtail) Syphon
Description & Application:
